Redundancy and Divorce

I was asked this week whether redundancy payments made to a pension can be made subject to a divorce settlement.
The simple answer is yes and this should be disclosed in the normal way to ensure that a full and fair reflection of circumstances is given. This is different to the issue of compensation relating to the misselling of pensions or for injury claims associated with pensions. This are cannot be made subject to a pension sharing order.
